- Don’t wear perfume, aftershave, or scented hair products.
- Wear scent-free sunscreen.
- Wasps don’t like mint! Mint plants dotted around the park.
- Wrap food before putting it in the bin.
- Keep food covered.
- Set a wasp trap filled with Ham in the spring and Jam in the summer.

The information on the plaque has gone. in fact, the whole plaque has been removed.
Why has the wasp advice plaque been removed?
There are a number of possible reasons…
- It wore out, became faded, started peeling and therefore was no longer useful
- The information was no longer correct – unlikely
- It fell off the wall
- Someone pulled it off the wall
- They have designed a new version, I just happened to spot it in between the old one being retired and the new one being installed.
